Abstract

World Trade Organization (WTO) is the only international organization dealing with the global rules of trade between nations. WTO multilateral trading system governed by an agreement that contains the basic rules of international trade as a result of negotiations that have been signed by the members. The Government of Indonesia is a founding member of Word Trade Organization (WTO) and has ratified the agreement through Law of The Republic of Indonesia Number 7 of 1994 concerning Ratification of the Agreement Establishing the World Trade Organization.

Abstract

            Furniture or home furnishings considerably potential and relatively has high value abroad.  Furniture is an artistic product that made from selective woods with beautiful color and texture which is done by a smooth final settlement.  So far, Indonesian furniture industry still has great prestige and known as one of the largest furniture exporter in world trade.  In world trade, furniture is known by their two digits Harmonized Tariff System (HTS) code which is 94 that constitute name and number (clarify) each commodity traded in the world.

Abstraksi

Posisi Indonesia sebagai negara demokratis terbesar ke tiga di dunia setelah India, USA, Ekonomi terbesar di Asia Tenggara dengan 240 juta penduduk; pertumbuhan ekonomi tertinggi di dunia (4,5%) setelah RRT dan India; Pendiri ( dan “pemimpin”) ASEAN ;  dan  Anggota G-20.

Abstract

In the framework of the World Trade Organization ( WTO ) , developed countries like the United States ( U.S. ), providing import duty remission for certain goods that are exported by developing countries (under developing countires) including qualified Indonesian products in the form of concessions tariff reduction or exemption of import duties which is called Generalized System of Preferences (GSP).
